"Disable" w2k client DNS caching
Of course the best way to do this is to use small TTLs on your DNS
server, but if you only have access to the clients, you can set
the maximum TTL time accepted by the win2k DNS client to 1 as follows:
run regedit.exe and browse to
- HKLM
- SYSTEM
- CurrentControlSet
- Services
- Dnscache
- Parameters
Change MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit to 1
